A Potter-McKean Players Production
A weekend in the country. A houseful of guests. What could possibly go wrong?
Faded actress Judith Bliss has retired to the English countryside — or so she claims. When her family's weekend guests arrive, they find themselves hopelessly entangled with the most charmingly self-absorbed household imaginable. Judith's husband is absorbed in his novel. Her son and daughter are each pursuing romantic intrigues of their own. And none of the Blisses seem remotely aware — or concerned — that their guests are slowly losing their minds. Written by Noël Coward at just 25 years old, Hay Fever is a masterclass in comic timing, biting wit, and the gloriously bad behavior of people who are far too interesting to be polite.
